We are so proud to announce that Focused has won Best Umbrella Company (500 – 1,000 clients) at The Contracting Awards 2024.
This year marked the inaugural Contracting Awards for Focused and it was one to remember, beating eight other leading providers to be named Best Umbrella Company in our category. These awards establish the benchmark for excellence among contractor suppliers in the UK, and this victory is a significant milestone for Focused. It showcases our relentless commitment to being the best we can be. This win also highlights why we are a trusted partner for both agencies and contractors.
Judged by an independent panel, we were asked to demonstrate excellence in customer service, showcase our commitment to compliance, and highlight the added value we provide to our contractors. These principles are always at the core of our approach as we strive to deliver unmatched reliability, maintain simplicity, and offer a truly caring experience for our umbrella employees and agency partners.
Our Sales Director, Dave Wilton, had this to say about our achievement:
“I am highly delighted to receive the award on behalf of my amazing team. Since relaunching Focused in 2023 we have not only grown in stature but in importance to some of the key players across the UK temporary worker market. This is only the start of our story but a pleasing milestone of how far we have come in a short space of time in a challenging market. Thank you for all that continue to support us and I look forward to competing again for the award next year.”
– Dave Wilton, Focused Sales director

An umbrella company employs contractors working short term assignments. It gives you legal employee status and removing the complexity from contract work. It’s the simplest way of working for most contractors, because there are no unexpected tax bills and you’re still entitled to statutory benefits, including a state pension and maternity leave.
