Here at Focused we are now into our 15th year of trading!
2003….. Concorde made its last flight, Love Actually was on at the cinema, the Black Eyed Peas had the number one song of the year with ‘Where is the love’ and the iPhone, YouTube and Facebook were still yet to take over the world…
Over those 15 years we have dealt with plenty of changes on a business front as well…. IR35, MSC legislation, SDC, False self-employment and the recent changes to PSC’s within the public sector, are all challenges that have been faced and surmounted over this time.
Change is constant and as always, legislation will evolve and place further demands on recruitment agencies. The most recent change, the Criminal Finance Act, has led to an even greater focus on compliance and the closer management of your support services within a preferred supplier list.
It has never been more important to fully understand your supply chain and ensure your chosen suppliers have robust processes and controls in place. At Focused we’ve always placed great importance on compliance, and we will continue to ensure this is the case. We have welcomed ALL measures taken by both the recruitment industry and government to strengthen the use of compliant payroll providers and our longevity in this marketplace is testimony to our compliant approach.
If you, or any of your colleagues would like to discuss ways in which Focused can continue to help support your contractor workforce and ensure both yourself and your business are protected, please don’t hesitate to contact us here at Focused where myself and the team would be happy to discuss or meet up in person.
We offer all our agency partners a dedicated, experienced account manager who will be able to provide you with a better understanding of our services, (such as Umbrella, PAYE only and PSC services) and how they can continue to benefit you and your contractors.
Thank you for your support of Focused over the years, and we look forward to continuing the relationship as the landscape no doubt continues to change in the future.
